Authorized personnel
Objective
Determine the different types of personnel who will be involved in the student help process.
 
Only the authorized personnel listed here will be proposed for inclusion on the IEP team selection page. The authorized personnel list is used for the following activities:
  • To define prevention criteria
  • To define the forms
  • To enter data into student forms, memos and IEPs.
Data
The types of authorized personnel are displayed with the following groupings:
Authorized personnel categories

 

 
The category is a data from the GPI school authorized-personnel table. It represents a broad division of the school's authorized personnel (teaching personnel, non-teaching personnel, etc.). The values defined in the corresponding "parameterized school data" are displayed in this group.
Functions of authorized personnel The function is also a data from the GPI school authorized-personnel table. It specifies the role or title of the personnel (e.g. principal, psychologist, nurse, etc.). The values defined in the corresponding "parameterized school data" are displayed in this group.

In addition to identifying functions routinely considered in the ISM system, it is possible to specify a combination of personnel functions in the IEP. The two possible combinations are: "Administration" and "other Personnel".
Personnel working with student These are the personnel/people associated to the student, either through teaching or the family situation. The possibilities are:
- Homeroom teacher
The teachers responsible for the student's homeroom.
- Student's teachers
Each of the teachers associated to the subjects to which the student is registered.
- School administrators
The personnel designated as school administrators in the student's report card. The school administrators are determined in GPI depending on the students' class, distribution code and classification code.
- Adults responsible
The father, mother, guardian, depending on the adult responsible codes in the student record. In the case of the entry of authorized personnel in a student form, a parent or guardian, even if not adult responsible, could be selected.
- Student
The students themselves.
Other personnel These are personnel who are not defined in the GPI school of authorized personnel but who could occasionally be involved in the student help process. These personnel are defined in the ISM External authorized personnel activity. They can then be included in the personnel selection screen during the entry of data in the student forms.
The desired types of authorized personnel are selected by using the check boxes.
Actions
Save The Save command records the changes entered on screen in the database.
Undo The Undo command cancels the changes entered in the page.
